For users who have serious difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions, Siri offers a range of assistive features that you can use to fill in the gaps. Alternatively, Siri can also make it easier to ask for help on your terms.

How to use Siri to call emergency services

With the quick dial feature, you can use Siri to call emergency services by saying "Hey Siri, call 911". If you live in a country outside the United States, you can call the designated emergency line for your country instead.

Use Siri to Share Locations with Caregivers via Messages

To share your location with your caretakers in an emergency, make sure your Precise Location for Messages is turned on. Here's how:

  1. On your iPhone, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Privacy and Security.
  3. Select Location services.
  4. Tap Messages.
  5. Select While using the app.
  6. Next to Precise location, turn on the button.

After that, you can share your location with your caretakers by saying "Hey Siri, share my location with your caretaker's name." Then you can add a comment or say press Send.

Set timers and alarms on Siri

If you struggle with issues like time blindness or hyperfocus, you can use Siri to set timers and alarms. It allows you to manage your time, energy, and productivity using built-in Apple tools, instead of having to download expensive time management apps. To do this, all you have to do is say "Hey Siri, set an alarm here for the insert time" or "Hey Siri, can you set a timer for X minutes?"
