According to Apple, the latest 10.2-inch iPad of the eighth generation has the same physical dimensions as the previous 10.2-inch model, except for the weight. Here are the exact measurements for basic Wi-Fi models:

So if you are upgrading from the seventh generation, then your existing case should fit very well. If your iPad is a sixth-generation 9.7-inch model or earlier, then it certainly won't fit, so if you're upgrading, then you'll need to pick up a new case to keep it protected.

Just because the old 10.2-inch iPad case should fit the latest model, you have to keep in mind one important thing. Apple frequently makes minor design changes that could affect the performance of your iPad if you're trying to use an older case.

Some of the changes we've seen over the years include the placement of the speakers and microphone, which will obviously affect the sound and quality of FaceTime calls. This may or may not be the case with the latest hardware, and if you don't mind the potential inconveniences, then you should be able to fix your current case for a few more years.

Essential wireless video support carries smart ringtones, such as HDR high-definition video, wide-angle lens, smart notifications, cloud recording, night vision, and two-way audio. However, unlike other ringtones on the market, Arlo's newest ringtone comes with a unique 1: 1 aspect ratio of the company, which I found to provide a more natural view of to the previous iteration.

Capable of connecting directly to WiFi, the latest solution can be powered by its rechargeable battery or can be wired for continuous charging.

The addition of an integrated rechargeable battery adds flexibility when it comes to installation, as it does not require existing cables. Arlo says the battery should last between three and six months, and for those who have cables available, it can be wired for continuous charging.

Other essentials include a built-in siren that can be manually activated via the Arlo app, available on iOS and Android, as well as a box-mount wedge that can help set the optimal view. Smart features are enabled over a direct Wi-Fi connection without the need for an additional hub, and once connected, the ringtone can integrate with Alexa Amazon and Google Assistant, but unfortunately does not support HomeKit. Finally, the Arlo ringtone comes with a three-month trial of the Arlo Smart subscription service, which allows access to 30-day video recordings stored in the cloud.
