We gave the original Wyze Cam Floodlight a high rating for its affordable price, bright LEDs, and easy installation. However, we were disappointed that it didn't support voice control. Now, the company's $149.99 Cam Floodlight Pro addresses that shortcoming and introduces several improvements. The Floodlight Pro has a higher-resolution camera with a wider field of view and brighter illumination from three LED lights. While the price has increased, it still offers excellent value and has earned our Editors' Choice award for smart floodlight cameras.

If you're interested in a wireless model and/or one that supports Apple HomeKit, the Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera ($249.99) is a better option and another Editors' Choice winner.

The Cam Floodlight Pro measures 9.1 by 10.2 by 7.8 inches (HWD) and weighs 2.9 pounds. It is slightly larger and heavier than the original Cam Floodlight. It features three dimmable LED panels that emit a total brightness of 3,000 lumens and can provide up to 180 degrees of horizontal light coverage. The Floodlight Pro is designed to plug directly into a junction box and can be mounted on a wall or soffit. It comes with a round mounting plate, mounting screws, wire nuts, a tethered hook, a Philips screwdriver, and a simple user manual.

The Floodlight Pro includes a camera unit with a pivoting mounting arm that allows for optimal coverage. It has a speaker, a microphone, and a status LED that indicates the device's power status and connectivity. There is also a microSD card slot for local recordings, a loud 105 dB siren, a dual-band Wi-Fi radio, and a Bluetooth radio.
