While the lock is compatible with Apple HomeKit, if you want to use it with another smart home system such as Amazon Alexa, you'll need to purchase a version with an optional Wi-Fi bridge. The lock is available in black, bronze, and nickel finishes, with a backlit keypad for easy use.

Installation is a bit more involved than with other smart home products and may require some DIY knowledge and tools.
