After announcing it at the recent iPhone event, Apple has officially rolled out its new iCloud+ storage plans. The 6TB and 12TB plans are now available for purchase through the iCloud+ interface and complement the existing range of 50GB, 200GB and 2TB options.

The new 6TB iCloud+ plan costs $29.99 per month and is aimed at photographers and content creators who need a lot of storage space. On the other hand, the 12TB plan has a monthly cost of $59.99 and is aimed at advanced users looking for even more comprehensive storage solutions.

In an effort to maximize utility, Apple has made these new plans shareable among family members. When Family Sharing is enabled, multiple users can take advantage of the enhanced storage capacity, making it a versatile choice for households with varying storage needs.

In addition to pure storage capacity, iCloud+ is packed with additional features that improve the user experience. These include Private Relay for more secure browsing in Safari, Hide My Email for generating temporary, site-specific email addresses, HomeKit Secure Video for storing video footage from HomeKit-enabled cameras, and support for custom email domains that can be used with an iCloud email address.
