On this week's Homekit.Blog Podcast, we have a special guest joining us to discuss Apple Vision Pro labs, iPhone 15 rumors, the Tesla app getting shortcuts, and more. Apple Vision Pro labs allow for early testing. Our special guest is Mikah Sargent, a podcaster, dog lover, and regular on TWiT.tv. He joins host Stephen Robles on the show floor of the Podcast Movement event in Denver to dive into topics such as Apple Vision Pro, podcasting, and, most importantly, microphones. Apple offers developer labs for Apple Vision Pro in six cities worldwide. Surprisingly, attendance at these labs seems to be low. In response, Apple has shared a few testimonials from developers about their experiences with the in-person labs. Moving on, as anticipated, the iPhone 15 Pro will likely feature USB-C, which could lead to new accessories and charging options. Host Stephen Robles discusses the convenience of fast charging compared to other options. In regards to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, there are rumors suggesting its release could be delayed due to Sony's image sensors not being ready. This wouldn't be the first time an iPhone has been delayed beyond the usual September release, so the rumor holds some weight. Additionally, there has been a surprise update to the Tesla app that introduces Shortcut support for users. Our hosts discuss the usefulness of these shortcuts and Tesla's reluctance to adopt other Apple-specific features. Contact our hosts. Sponsored by: HelloFresh - America's No. 1 meal kit!
