Aqara introduces HomeKit Adaptive Lighting-enabled multi-zone light strip

Cupertino, August 15, 2023

Aqara has introduced its latest product, the Aqara LED Strip T1, which is their first light strip. This LED strip sets itself apart from the competition by offering multiple addressable zones and multi-platform support. To connect, it requires a compatible Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub such as the Camera Hub G2H Pro and G3. It is compatible with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, and Matter. For users of Apple HomeKit, the LED Strip T1 supports Apple's Adaptive Lighting feature, which automatically adjusts the color temperature of the lights throughout the day. This means that in the morning, the light strip emits a warmer color, while in the afternoon, it absorbs more blue light. Furthermore, each of the ten separate zones of the light strip can be controlled individually, allowing for unique effects and brightness levels. The strip supports RGB CCT and can display up to 16 million colors, in addition to having tunable white. Additionally, with its built-in microphone, the light strip can synchronize with music without needing to open the app. Users have the flexibility to customize the length of the light strip by shortening it and can also reattach cut pieces. The Aqara LED Strip T1 is now available for purchase worldwide with a price of $49.99 on Amazon in the US. As a launch promotion, users can get a 10% discount using the promo code USCASTRIP in North America and LEDSTRIPEU in European stores.
