As reported on Appleinsider.com, Arlo has launched an update for their Smart Hub (model VMB4540), which brings HomeKit functionality to theirs Rooms Arlo Pro 3. This newer model, although similar to its predecessor still available, Arlo Pro 2, accepts 2K video, has a color night vision, which represents a recent development in the world of smart cameras, as well as a 160º field of view.
Although the expected HomeKit upgrade is more than welcome, Arlo Pro 3 still does not support HomeKit Secure Video, which for many people is the new milestone for HomeKit cameras.
If you're lucky enough to have the Arlo Pro system, with the VHB4540 SmartHub, then you can upgrade the system to get HomeKit compatibility through a firmware update available in the Arlo app.
