All of Thursday's best Apple deals go live ahead of Labor Day weekend. The second-best price is what matters: Apple Watch Series 8 starts from $310 and goes alongside AirPods Pro 2 at $49 off. Plus, Level's invisible Bolt HomeKit smart lock has the lowest price of the year, after dropping to $141. Get a jump on all that and more in the latest Homekit.Blog Lunch Break.
Amazon is now offering the second best price yet for Apple Watch Series 8, headlining the best Labor Day Apple Deals. Just ahead of the big Wonderlust keynote next month, the latest wearable is on sale for $310 in several of the 41mm colorways. Down from $399, you're looking at $89 in savings in addition to the second-best price yet. It's the first price cut since Prime Day, which was also the only time we've seen it sell for less. Also taking advantage of the savings, 45mm GPS styles now start at $360. That's down from $429, with much of the same second best price status. All eyes may now be on what Apple's next wearable will be, but Apple Watch Series 8 still offers plenty of features that make it a compelling upgrade over older models. Never mind as good a place to start closing your rings as ever before. Those feelings are reinforced by today's $90 discount, especially considering that it looks like Apple will take a more bland approach to Series 9 next month. The entire device is centered around one of Apple's brightest always-on displays to date, which is powered by the new S8 chip that enables the enhanced gyroscope and accelerometer technology that combine to provide crash detection. In addition to the ability to monitor night's sleep, there's a new built-in temperature sensor alongside ECG capabilities, blood oxygen monitoring, and stats on all your other daily exercise.
Amazon is now offering the second best price yet for Apple's AirPods Pro 2. Now dropped from the usual $249 price tag to $200, there's $49 in savings to rave about. If that wasn't tempting enough to finally upgrade to Apple's latest earbuds, today's offering is also within $1 of its all-time low to live up to its second-best price status. This discount is only a day after our report that Apple would be bringing USB-C to AirPods Pro 2 next month, but those who aren't picky about the port can save in advance. The AirPods Pro 2 now features Adaptive Audio that dynamically adjusts sound based on your surroundings, and can also automatically turn on Transparency Mode when it detects you're talking to someone. The earbuds also offer all the same features as the original pair as the new AirPods Pro 2 now come with some improvements such as improved audio fidelity combined with the upgraded ANC and new adaptive transparency mode technology. There's still support for spatial audio, as well as Hey Siri integration, all wrapped up in a redesigned charging case with Find My features, a built-in speaker and a lanyard loop.
Amazon is now offering the Level Bolt HomeKit Smart Lock for $141. Starting at $199, you'll now see a 30% savings in addition to its best price of the year. Today's offer is $5 less than our previous listing and lands as the second best discount yet. For comparison, we haven't seen it sold since the summer of 2022. Level Bolt distinguishes itself from all other models on the market with an invisible design that hides in your door frame. Most other offerings have large enclosures or enclosures that hang from the back of your door, but Level Bolt keeps the setup looking like it's still traditional hardware. That unique design is accompanied by support for a variety of smart home features, culminating in HomeKit integration on top of Ring, using a smartphone app, or just popping out the old school key. We found it lived up to the novelty in our hands-on review.
