At the CES 2024, Ecovacs unveiled a new iteration of its product, the X2 Omni - a first-of-its-kind square-profile Deebot. This innovative design allows the appliance to provide almost edge-to-edge cleaning. Furthermore, the DEEBOT X2 COMBO enriches the functionality of the X2 Omni by incorporating a handheld vacuum to the already integrated robot vacuum, mop, and auto-empty station. Equipped with progressive technologies and hands-free features, it aligns with the evolution in smart home maintenance. It's also Matter certified, enabling seamless integration with various smart home systems.

The DEEBOT X2 COMBO, which combines the functionality of the X2 Omni with the convenience of Ecovacs' handheld stick vacuum, promises a complete cleaning experience, according to the company. The X2 COMBO represents a significant advancement toward comprehensive smart home cleaning, serving as the first whole-home vacuum system by Ecovacs. It simplifies household chores, negating the need for multiple cleaning appliances and thereby saving money and space. The X2 COMBO is available in two models– the DEEBOT and Handheld, and the DEEBOT and Handheld with stick attachment.

The innovative square profile of the X2 Omni enables it to clean up to a claimed 99.8% of the surface area in one go, which is significantly more than traditional robotic vacuums. The addition of the lightweight handheld tool allows the X2 COMBO to provide holistic cleaning of the whole house, such as furniture, stairs, and vehicles. This removes the need for homeowners to purchase multiple cleaning appliances.

With the 8000Pa suction power, the X2 COMBO provides robust cleaning performance. The appliance combines the pressurised OZMO Turbo 2.0 mopping system of the X2 Omni and superior mop lifting abilities to effectively clean multiple floor types without human interference. It retains the intelligent navigation and smart home features of its predecessor, such as embedded navigation, rapid mapping, True Detect 3D 2.0 for precise obstacle evasion, YIKO 2.0 voice control system, and compatibility with Matter 1.2.

In addition to its innovative features, the X2 COMBO includes a novel dual dust collection base station, simplifying charging, emptying, and maintenance for users. The station includes bi-directional dust collection for both DEEBOT and handheld components and facilitates hands-free maintenance. When done cleaning, the DEEBOT automatically returns to the station to empty, clean itself, and charge for the next operation, while users can place the handheld vacuum back for similar hands-free benefits. Consequently, the X2 COMBO ensures a consistently clean home without requiring much user intervention.
