So I have 6 of these switches ... and I've seen people complain about it for years. But for whatever reason, they never gave me a problem.
Now, after years of success, ALL 6 of them have decided to become completely unresponsive. They work manually, but not through Homekit. So I removed all of them from the Leviton app, and now they will NOT pair. It seems impossible.
Some things to note:
1. I know how to reset them and put them in pairing mode.
2. I'm on a 2.4 ghz network, so that's not the problem.
3. I tried to add them both through Homekit, the Leviton app, and in the wifi configuration
4. Obviously, they can't update their firmware because I can't configure them at all.
It seems very strange that they all stopped at the same time ... so I assumed it was an update to the Leviton application that broke them. But there was an update, because they all stopped working, so I don't know.
Has anyone else experienced this? I was considering resetting AirPort Extreme, but I really don't want to do that. I have seen these things so much and now they are driving me crazy. I'd rather not spend $ 300 moving to another brand.
