About to switch to Google Home/Alexa - Want to check first

Cupertino, April 21, 2024

First I had problems with the Nanoleafs in HomeKit (turn off/on all lights would freeze and only 75% would turn on/off and Siri would say there was a problem) So after doing my research I assumed that Nanoleaf caused emission. I have a few older Hues so I set them up today and I'm still having problems in HomeKit. Siri commands are not always reliable, turning everything on/off sometimes results in 2-3 bulbs not turning on/off. For fun I installed google assistant/home to see if it's the same. So far it's working, although it says google assistant "Not sure what lights on/off you want, at least all lights turn on/off.

Just wondering before I go get a nest and change if anyone else has had this problem with the lights and found a solution, I'd rather stick with HomeKit but the lights are like most of my smart home usage.

Thanks.
