Accessory already added issue - has there been a resolution?

Have had power outages over and over (thanks, DTE), and our Sensi thermostat wasn't being seen by Homekit nor attaching to WiFi. Removed it from Home, set it back up, and now I am getting the message about the accessory already existing in Home.

There was [an earlier thread](https://www.homekit.blog.com/r/HomeKit/comments/jxc1ku/homekit_accessory_already_added_issue/) but there doesn't seem to be any resolution.
