Adding more Hue decks to the HomeKit

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

Just curious how this works or if there is the best way to do it, when I connected the first bridge when I first entered a few weeks ago, it was kind of a nightmare because it wrote in a way constantly all the names of my rooms in Home. I finally synced them and everything is fine. I have a second Hue bridge that is used strictly for the exterior lighting that I wanted to add, but I don't want to bother. I only have about five rooms on that bridge, but none of them exist today in the Home or the other bridge. There are things like Driveway, Chalet, etc. So I wasn't sure if I should create these rooms in Home first and then add the attic or let the attic add them. I don't want the bridge to erase all the 20 rooms I have today and replace them with the 5 in this new bridge. This seemed to be happening again, as it would erase all the rooms we already had and put all the lights in the default room and then overwrite the Home app with the Hue cameras. I set up a lot of scenes, etc., so I just wanted to find out the right way to do this before trying, because I don't want to lose anything. If it's too risky, then I won't even bother. Thanks!
