The rumor from Manchester United about the home set for the 2021/22 season has been “leaked” online.
A report on the Footy Headlines football website gives the first details of what Manchester United’s new home kit might look like for next season.
The article claims that United will introduce a simple design on their new home shirts next season, with the same shade of red that is used on the current home shirt.
It is suggested that the next release of the United shirt will be a clean design, with no visible prints or patterns embedded in the basic look of the shirt.
They also suggest that United’s club badge and Adidas logo will be centered on the kit, which looks similar to the iconic 1984/85 home shirt.
Next, he suggests that the details on the home band will be “cloud white”, a slightly darker shade than regular white, with all the manufacturer’s logos, as well as the white neck and sleeve cuffs in that color.
They believe that the United 2020/21 home kit will be completed with shorts in the same “cloud white” color scheme and black socks to complete the design.
It is even estimated that United’s new home kit will be released in July before the new Premier League season.
