Am I doing something wrong with this automation?

Cupertino, December 15, 2019

I wanted to create something so the door locked when the door closed, but it didn't seem to work. The sensor is in the HomeKit and detects correctly, but the door does not lock. Is it because my HomeKit hub is not within Bluetooth range of the door lock? Is it important if my phone is within range and can control the door lock?

Thanks

Edit: I think it has to do with my hub being too far away. It doesn't lock the door using my phones bluetooth through the homekit, even though I'm close to it. I brought my iPad closer and it suddenly started working.
