I live in a small apartment and I was thinking about getting the basic Ring security system, but I started looking at HomeKit. I have only one entrance (main door) and I don't need other sensors on the windows, because they are not at ground level. I was thinking of putting the Vocolinc contact sensor on the front door, which would send alerts on the phone. I would also get Eufy Indoor 2k which supports HKSV to record automatically when I leave the house. Would I miss a lot compared to the Ring, apart from 24/7 monitoring? How well does the touch sensor work because it's Bluetooth and not zigbee? Can HomeKit sound an alarm on my HomePod and Sonos speakers?
