I have several HomePod and AppleTV devices in my network. It frustrates me endlessly when my HomeKit devices start to stop responding. Without exception, this happens when the home hub randomly moves to one of my WiFi-connected hubs (homepods, for example) to an AppleTV that is Ethernet connected to my network. To fix unresponsive devices, disconnect the "connected" hub, wait a few minutes for the HomeKit gods to magically select a wired hub, and then reconnect the previous hub.
