Apple boosts Apple Watch trade-in values part of new promo

Cupertino, February 4, 2020

Apple increased the amount it pays for second-hand Apple Watch models as part of a new "Heart Month" promotion, offering up to $ 100 when customers trade an Apple Watch Series 2 or Apple Watch Series 3.

Promo increases carrier values by $ 30 to $ 40, up from $ 60 for Apple Watch Series 2 and $ 70 for Apple Watch Series 3.

Apple will be hosting a special Apple Watch Activity challenge starting February 8th, rewarding users who close their exercise ring for seven days in a row with special iMessage stickers and a reward in the Activity app.

The new special trading promotion comes after Apple lowered the trading values of iPhone, iPads, Mac and Apple Watch models last month, although the "Apple Watch" Series 1, the Apple Watch 2 Series and the Apple Watch 3 Series have been exempt from modification.

So far, it seems that the special promotion is limited to customers in the United States.
