Apple is about to launch the iPhone 13 in late September, say Wedbush analysts

Apple is about to launch the iPhone 13 in late September, according to Wedbush’s analysis, Daniel Ives, who reports that supply chain checks suggest that the next iPhone could be launched in the third week of September.

First covered by 9to5Mac, Wedbush predicts that Apple is trying to produce about 25% more iPhone 13 models than it did with the iPhone 12, due to the continued interest of consumers and operators for 5G phones, associated with a strong continuous demand for the iPhone as a whole.

Although the planned launch is scheduled for the end of September, Ives notes that “product model changes” could force Apple to push the launch slightly back to early October.

Early rumors indicate iPhone 13 with a 120Hz “ProMotion” screen, larger batteries, a smaller notch and more.
