Apple shows iPhone without a notch on Apple Store

Cupertino, February 13, 2020

With eagle eyes Ben Geskin noticed that Apple uploaded an image to the Apple online store that shows what looks like an iPhone model across the screen.

Before we delve deeper into the article, we want to point out that this is most likely something other than a huge graphic design mistake from Apple, however, this "might" be our first look at an iPhone without notch.

Displayed as part of the marketing images for Incase ICON Lite Backpack II, a mysterious iPhone can be seen coming out of the backpack in what appears to be a white silicone case.

As shown in the picture above, the iPhone does not have a TrueDepth "notch" camera system found on Apple's latest iPhone models, which houses Face ID, front-facing camera and more.

Again, we want to reiterate how unlikely it is that Apple accidentally dropped the iPhone 12. The image is probably the result of a stratification problem when creating marketing images, but it makes you wonder how such a mistake was missed.

Rumors have suggested that Apple is working on a 6.7-inch iPhone with no growth, with Face ID built into the display, but this technology is not expected to arrive this year.

The image will most likely be drawn as soon as Apple realizes the mistake, but for now you can see the image yourself by searching for the Incase ICON Lite II backpack from the Apple Store app.
