Hello HomeKittens - firstly, thank you for all the fantastic tips posted in this sub that have helped us tremendously. I thought my HK setup was stable now as everything was finally working, however over the past few weeks one of my LG TVs has stopped responding to the volume control on the Apple TV remote connected to it. All my other LG TVs still respond to volume adjustments on the ATVs remotes. The Apple TV box is new, bought a few months ago and patched with the latest iOS updates. The LG TV is also a recent model. For a while, the volume function on the ATV remote worked as intended and adjusted the volume of the television. Now it isn't and no settings have been changed on either device. Does anyone know how to get this feature working again? It's a pain in the ass to have two remotes when we used to only use one. FWIW, the ATV remote commands are detected by the LG remote because the on/off function on the remote turns the remote on or off as needed, it's just the volume function that went off. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated 😀
