Apple TV vs HomePod as a hub

Cupertino, October 13, 2020

I noticed that our house behaves much better if we use one of the HomePod devices as a hub instead of the Apple TV 4K.

Our lights (LIFX) respond in a much more consistent way. When the TV is a hub, Siri always tells us about a device that is not responding.

Does anyone else have the same problem?
