In this week's episode of AppleInsider Podcast, your hosts discuss new rumors about a 27-inch Apple Silicon iMac, go over our new renderings of Apple VR headsets, and highlight iPhone travel apps.
A new report from Digitimes claims that production has begun on a new 27-inch colorful iMac. While this new iMac may not have the mini-LED display technology found in the redesigned MacBook Pro or 12.9-inch iPad Pro, we expect it to be released in early 2022.
AppleInsider has created new renderings of the upcoming Apple VR headset, expected in 2022 as well.
At least 30 states are working to adopt a digital driver's license option that should work with Apple Wallet ID on the iPhone. TSA claims that it will begin testing digital IDs at two US airports in February 2022, with additional locations shortly thereafter.
Our hosts are also looking back to 2021 and choosing to launch their favorite Apple hardware, WWDC's new favorite software feature, and answer listeners' questions, including Apple's flagship devices from our past.
