Apple was founded 45 years ago today

Apple was founded 45 years ago today, on April 1, 1976, when Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayn officially signed the documents to form Apple Computer Company.

Apple, now worth more than $ 2 trillion, becoming the most valuable company in the world, was launched from Steve Jobs ‘parents’ garage in Los Altos, where Jobs and Steve Wozniak put together the boards of their first computer, Apple I, which year.

Co-founder Ronald Wayn sold his 10% stake in Apple just days after the company was founded, receiving a $ 800 payment for his share, which today would be worth tens of billions of dollars.

Steve Wozniak left Apple in 1985, leaving Steve Jobs as CEO. Since then, the company has launched the iPod in 2001, the iPhone in 2007 and the iPad in 2010.

As Apple celebrates its 45th anniversary today, I remember Steve’s words from many years ago: “It’s been an amazing journey so far, but we’ve just begun.” Thanks to every member of our Apple family for everything you’ve done to enrich their lives. Here are the next 45 years and over!

Celebrating today’s anniversary, Apple CEO Tim Cook shared a quote from the late Steve Jobs, looking forward to the next 45 years and beyond.
