Apple Watch asks which house

Cupertino, September 20, 2023

I've been trying to figure this out for months since I installed the beta in July. I have shared access to my parents' house so I can help set up HomeKit. Every time I run a command from my watch since installing WatchOS10, it asks me what house I'm talking about. Even for unique device or room names that only exist in my home. My watch is on Wi-Fi and the same subnet as my AppleTVs and HomePods. Communication with my phone is ok. The location service on the watch is activated. My phone and AppleTVs run all commands as expected. I can't figure out why my watch insists on asking which house I'm talking about when I ask Siri to do something. Any suggestions? I have a series 9 on Friday so I plan to set it up as a new watch and not restore from backup to try and avoid the problem transferring to the new watch if the problem is somewhere in the settings.
