Aqara Hub adding legacy devices

Cupertino, October 12, 2023

So I got a new router yesterday after having problems with all the devices that require a 2.4ghz network. I decided to reset my house and start from scratch. Everything worked fine until I added my Aqara hub. The hub adds devices I no longer have (a contact sensor and a door/window sensor that were broken) to my house, which of course show up as unresponsive. This happens even though I have factory reset the hub multiple times. The most annoying thing is that I can't remove devices from HomeKit that are connected to the Aqara hub. When I try to add the Aqara hub to the Xiaomi app or the Aqara app, it adds the device directly to HomeKit, so I have no control over the devices connected to the hub... What should I do?
