Aqara Hub and the HomeKit security system

Cupertino, December 22, 2021

I feel bad for not understanding this ... Between the Aqara app and the Home app, I can't figure out how to set off an alarm. I may be too simplistic in my thinking, but all I want to do is do it so that when I set up the security system in HomeKit, I get a notification if any of the door's contact sensors open, send a notification. HomeKit that the alarm has been triggered as well as turns on some lights. I think the Aqara hub should make a sound when it happens, right? But I can figure out how to actually trigger it. Where do I tell HomeKit to trigger the alarm system if the contact sensors open? I've set up so many automations, but for some reason it escapes my logic and drives me crazy!
