I have an Aqara P3 IR air conditioner controller connected to HomeKit. It controls an AC (a Hisense model) and I was able to successfully set p3 to control the AC unit. However, the power status can get out of sync with what's in HomeKit. For example, if the AC is turned on in HomeKit and I turn off the AC using the remote, the AC unit turns off, but HomeKit thinks it's still on. Or, for example, I toggle the on/off state too quickly in HomeKit and the IR can't keep up. Since then, trying to control in HomeKit does the exact opposite (ie turn off in HomeKit, turn on the AC unit and vice versa). Is this a common problem with any HomeKit IR controller? Or am I doing something wrong in my specific setup? Also, I wonder if this AC unit uses the same IR code/signal for on and off (like a toggle switch) while other AC units have separate signals for on and off? Thanks
