I have had the MyQ hub for over 4 years and have never had any problems working with my old Genie Garage Door opener.
For the rest of my life, I have never been able to get MyQ Home Bridge to work properly since I own it.
I recently read that it works better on a 2.4 GHz network, so I set up my network and started configuring the system from scratch. Again, I have zero problems connecting the Hub to my old Genie. It works perfectly from the application! As soon as I try to connect MyQ Home Bridge, the system never registers correctly and I can never get the door to appear in the home kit. I spent almost three hours fighting tonight.
This thing is just a piece of garbage or someone has experience in making it actually work. Thanks in advance for any help!
