I have been a Nest Secure user for many years (since launch) and ordered the ADT+ auto-configuration system for free. It's been sitting in a box in my basement for a week and ADT has been bugging me daily to set it up. I'm not a big Google user anymore, in fact Nest is the last remaining Google service I use (actively). Since then I've added a bunch of accessories to my HomeKit setup - and I use a Starling Home Hub to handle my Nest devices, including Nest Secure. I'm aware that HomeKit is excluded, but free is free and the system was free, and monitoring (Pro) is free for a year, $20/month after that. So I decided to go ahead and order it, but I'm hesitant to install it. Are there other old Secure users who have switched to ADT+? So far I am not impressed with them as a company, they are very archaic. Anyone switching to a HomeKit compatible system? If yes, which one? Is Abode the best?
