The smart home provider Arlo has announced the new video doorbell Arlo with a wide vertical field of view, but unfortunately not homeKit integration.

The new video camera is there to confront Ring and August. It has a simple black / white design with the camera above a big doorbell button.
Besides a wide horizontal field of view, it also has a wide vertical field of view to give a more complete picture of the owner's porch. It records in 1: 1 format instead of the standard 16: 9 format.
It has built-in motion detection, accepts video calls and can relay pre-recorded messages to visitors. It supports night vision as well as HDR and can zoom in on a video during a live call.
The doorbell also has a built-in siren that can sound whenever someone tries to forcibly remove the Arlo Doorbell from the door.
When we press HomeKit support, Arlo says they have no ads to make yet.
It will be available for pre-order later this week and will cost $ 149.99.
