I live on the second floor of a duplex and my lock is at the foot of the stairs. Diagonally, the router is probably about 40-50 feet (30-35 feet from the top of the stairs). There is also a mini HomePod in the room just above the front door (~ 10-12 ft of padlock). Are you confused whether you should move the bridge closer to the padlock home or move the router closer? I know that the August app uses wifi and works well, so I guess the router is not the problem. If this is the case, it probably means that the HomePod Mini is using Bluetooth to talk to the lock and has connection problems. I’m sure 10-12 ft should be okay, but apparently not. Are you curious if others have other suggestions?
August Wifi Lock works with the August application perfectly, but without answer in HomeKit
