I’m new to the kit at home and I hope someone can help me. I recently purchased a new home and the first two devices I added to the HomeKit were a new HomePod and an August Wifi Smart Lock.
After installation and configuration, the smart lock worked fine in Homekit for about 5 minutes, then switched to “no response”. I restarted the lock, reset the lock, and reset the HomePod several times. Whenever I do a reset or restart again the lock will work in Homekit for only a few minutes and then the status changes to “no response”. The lock works very well using the August application …
Can anyone tell me what I might need to change for the lock to work with HomeKit?
