I have a small concrete fountain that we rarely use because the water evaporates every day and it is a hassle to fill it and connect it daily. So this seems like a prime example of automation that solves this problem. I'm thinking of using an Eve Aqua to run 60 seconds when motion is detected in the backyard. When it stops, another automation will start to turn on the well. Everything looks good. But if we go in and out all day, I don't want the fountain to fill up every time. So, I see some options. 1. Fill the well once a day in the morning and then turn on the power when motion is detected. 2. Solder the cables to a water sensor and attach them to the inside of the well to determine when the water level drops and turn on the water only when no water is detected and movement is detected. 3. Write an automation to fill the water only at the first detection of movement every day. I think I like option 3 best, but I don't know how to use Shortcuts or third-party apps to write this. I have Home +, Eve and Controller applications for HomeKit applications. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
