Automation [camera detects motion] then [wake iPad and open home app]

Cupertino, November 4, 2020

I would like to mount my iPad wall to be used as a HomeKit interface, to switch scenes, etc.

You don't want to leave the iPad display 24/7, looking for ways to automate it by opening the app at home.

Assuming it's in front of my Netatmo welcome camera, so if the camera detects movement, then the iPad could open the home app and wake up the screen, then automatically lock again after 5 minutes.

iPad has no password protection.

Please help, find ways to improve how I can use the iPad as an interface.

Thanks
