I have an automation running when PORCH LIGHT is on:
if PORCH LIGHT is on
repeat 20 times
wait 3 seconds
if PORCH SENSOR motion is detected
shortcut command
conclude if
end repeat
set PORCH LIGHT to off
conclude if
I notice that as it is there, if there is no movement detected by the porch sensor within 1 minute, it will turn off the light, perfectly!
I wanted a 2 minute timer for the light to go out, so I change the waiting time from 3 to 6 seconds (20 x 6 = 120 seconds = 2 minutes), but the light never seems to go out.
So I go into the automation itself and step through the commands, I see it running all the standby commands correctly, but then it crashes on the command "set PORCH LIGHT to off"
..and I do not know why. The button on the bottom right is another square that shows that the automation is still working.
I'm confused why this is happening.
