I try to automate my subwoofer to turn on when the TV turns on by automation, but I try to turn it on. Appreciate any advice. ** Devices: ** * Subwoofer – Connected to Hue Plug – In homekit and functional * TV – Connected via Homebridge – in Homekit and works ** Automations: ** * when the TV turns on – turn on the Hue plug (subwoofer) * when the TV turns off – turn off the plug (subwoofer) So it works when I turn the TV on and off via the Home application, however, when I turn on the TV with the remote control, it often does not work. I suspect that the Apple TV that controls Homekit does not detect the change of the TV status to start the automation when you have finished with the remote control, even if the application shows that the TV is on when you have finished with the remote control. Any advice on how to solve appreciated. I know I could use a Hue button, for example, to turn on automation, but I would just like to understand using the TV remote control.
