He ran some Hue bulbs and had previously relied on iConnectHue. Great app, but try to make things more centralized in the Home app.
The bedroom has two "areas" ... my bed and my wife's bed. Each consists of a Go lamp on our bedside tables and a light strip on our respective sides of the bed.
Currently I have the following automations through the Home application:
* Sunset - The bedroom lights (both areas) light up with a certain scene (quite bright)
* 21:00 - The bedroom lights (both areas) change the scene, towards a darker scene
* 10:00 pm - Same as above ... switching to an even darker scene.
The problem is, my wife sometimes turns off the lights and goes to sleep before 10pm. Then, at 10:00 pm, her lights turn on.
In the iConnectHue app, there is a way to say "do this only if {group is present}).
I don't see anything similar in the Home app. Does anyone know if there is a way to specify running the automation only if the lights are on?
