I just installed the Refoss garage door controller (just like Meross) HomeKit. It works great. It is in a barn that has come off the house, but it is as solid as stone. The only thing is that it has an automation that can close the door when the last person leaves the WiFi area (or a certain person leaves). I set to close the door when I leave only since it seems like no one does. My problem is that it doesn't do it automatically. Every time I leave I get a notification on my watch (and iPhone) to run the automation. I don't consider it necessary to run an automation manually at all. There may be some security issues that I don't get, but I can't think of one. Or maybe it's something I overlook. Do you have any perspective?
