Automation of the trigger after a short delay

Cupertino, April 11, 2020

I tried the Home app, along with the Eve app, but I can't see how to do it: I have a sensor mounted on the front door, which I want to trigger to lock the door after the door is closed, but only after a delay on which can specify it, such as 30 seconds or 1 minute.

Is there a way to do this with the Home or Eve application?

Full disclosure, I have the door sensor (a generic Zigbee sensor) connected to a Hubitat elevation, which passes the sensor status to the HomeKit via Homebridge. I can create automation in the Home app and it works - it locks the door immediately after the door is closed. I just want to be able to add a delay, so I don't have to re-enter the code if I just want to go to my car and grab something.
