Automations broken after HomePod took control

Help!

& # x200B;

I recently entered Homekit and happily installed about 20 devices and programmed some simple automations. Everything was swimming until I noticed that automation did not work on its own. I could "test" them successfully, but they would not operate on their own. One 4K ATV works as a hub, with another a HomePod in standby.

The only thing that changed was that I disconnected the power supply from the circuit where the ATV lives. It seems that this has made HomePod take over as a hub.

I disconnected it and eventually even reset it to try to get the ATV to take over again, but both still say "standby". There is no remote access to the homekit and nothing works except in my network. I can't understand why ATVs won't take over as hubs. I turned everything on and off and turned the hub status on and off both times, no effect.

Ideas?
