Broken automations?

Cupertino, October 22, 2021

I know it might sound like a broken record ... but I have some automations that are broken from iOS 15. I have Aqara sensors for doors / windows on my sliding closet doors. Automations are simply if the doors are open turn on the light, if the doors close turn off the lights. What is actually happening is the complete opposite. The contact is open in the HomeKit and the light remains off. But as soon as the door closes, the ignition turns on and the light comes on. The light comes on instantly when the door closes, so I know it's not a weird delay and I can open and leave the door open and the light never comes on. So what I did was turn the automations upside down, so when the door closes the lights are on and when the door is open the light is off and now everything is working as it should, i.e. the door is open, the light is on and the door light is off off. I wonder if anyone sees such a thing?
