Hey, HomeKit fans, I'm building a new house and I really don't know how to approach HomeKit. We appreciate the suggestions: 1) Speakers - We thought of installing surround sound speakers and outdoor speakers. I know I can get Airplay compatible speakers, but I don't expect anything to work with Siri? If I have a homepod I can play it on airplay speakers (Sonos or equivalent? I want to be able to use SIri to turn on music, but play on different speakers installed. Thoughts? 2) Cameras and security. Any suggestions on setting up a new home with various indoor and outdoor rooms that work well, preferably wired and not battery operated (I don't want you to have to charge things) Or I shouldn't even try HomeKit and I'm doing something more formal.
