C by GE switches gaps HomeKit

Cupertino, February 4, 2020

So I recently bought a whole bunch of c (ge for a whole house) switches and a few bulbs. I knew that the switches are HomeKit "soon", so I made the leap knowing full well that I can wait until the end of time to come to HomeKit. Also, I got the C to get the bulbs on HomeKit. When I added the bridge to my house, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only my bulbs were added to my home, but also the switches! It seems that they are not fully supported because, after adding C-Reach to a "location" in the c by ge application, I can no longer add any switches.

My plan is to reach two Reaches, one upstairs and the other down, then add all the switches in the application depending on the location, top or bottom ... then add the bridges. Cross fingers that will get all my switches on HomeKit!
