Preface: My current house has been a combination of SmartThings hub and devices (35+ devices), now some HomeKit stuff, and Alexa running it all by voice.
I’m selling that house and looking ‘start over’ again using all 2020 newest technologies and integrations. I think I’m done with SmartThings for good and going pure HomeKit. Knowing what you know today, what would you do if starting an entirely new setup today?
My Current Ideas:
- Homepods/Siri (obviously)
- Apple TV 4K (hub)
- Hubitat?
- Hoobs?
- what switches/devices?
- cameras?
