So I've been trying various things for a while now, but I'm just stumped. I have an Arlo video doorbell paired with their smart hub for HomeKit access and it's been streaming flawlessly for me for years. But since iOS 17, it's very laggy when accessing the camera via HomeKit. On average, it takes 10-15 seconds to display the video stream in the Home app. The thumbnail never updates by itself unless I click on the camera and wait for it to load. It also takes longer to load on all my Apple TV devices when someone rings my doorbell. What did I try? Tried: - Factory reset the ringer and reinstall - Reset the smart hub - Call the setup home and re-add all the accessories. This lag is consistent on WiFi (I have a stable 500mbp fiber connection and my doorbell is less than 10 meters from the main Eero) or cellular with no difference in load times. And the big kicker; works perfectly and loads fast (1-2 seconds) *in the current Arlo app.* Anyone have any idea what is causing this? I've seen other complaints over the past year and a half since people started running iOS 17, but I haven't come across any solutions and it doesn't seem to be affecting everyone.
