Can a mini HomePod work as a bluetooth extender?

Cupertino, November 12, 2020

So, at present, there are some homekit compatible devices that only run on BT. The usual suggestion was to have the hub within range BT. But this is not practical in many cases (for example, if your homekit hub is a TV, you don't have much flexibility in where it is placed).

If you could get a homepod within range of the BT device, and the homepod connected to it via BT - would it allow an Apple TV to then communicate with that device via BT?
