I've had ecobees for over 2 years, but it's been faulty lately. I was initially interested in T9, but it didn't have HomeKit. I've had a nest before, but sensor integration is almost useless, so it's not an option. With ecobee I only have 1 home program and 1 sleep program, and then HomeKit controls the travel mode. It looks like they're already doing the same thing with Honeywell's geofencing settings. I just want to use HomeKit for geofencing only; so that HomeKit is the main brain of the house and not to configure the Honeywell app on every phone. I use different sensors for different modes, but it looks like Honeywell can too.
