I'm just getting into the homekit. The only task I have is that I want to get a smart plug for the cable modem provided by Rogers. I noticed that my internet service is deteriorating over time and restarting the cable modem fixes it. Because I can't change the brand of the cable modem, I'm stuck looking for an automatic way to restart the modem once a week (say Monday morning at 3 in the morning).

So I wonder if I will have this type of control in the homekit to set up a task that will turn off the plug at 3am and then reactivate it at 3:01 on Monday morning.
And I wonder if all this will happen locally in my house, because once the outlet is turned off, the house will be isolated from the internet, so I can't rely on an external service that sends a message to the switch to turn itself on. again.
Right now I have a few Apple TVs in the house that act as a hub for homekit.
Any perspective or indication would be appreciated.
